MU Extension Office talks peach tree care

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension Office has a reminer about one of the most common diseases of peach trees; peach leaf curl. The peach leaves become reddish-green, curled, deformed and puckered.

This disease is found during the growing season but must be controlled before buds are swollen. The key to successfully controlling this disease is to apply a fungicide before the buds begin to swell in the spring.

For more information about peach leaf curl and other plant diseases contact the University of Missouri Extension Office at 816-279-1691.
